"I chose to be a chiropractor because of my feelings about health. I feel that healthcare has largely been changed to sickcare, and therefore many people have a “Reactive” strategy to health. In other words, we wait until something goes wrong, then we react, trying to cover up the symptoms of the problem. This reactive approach has very little to do with attaining health, but instead focuses on symptom based care.

I believe that most people want to be healthy, but have not been fully educated on how to attain that goal. I have found that when people are properly informed, they usually make the right decisions. I focus on finding the cause of a problem, and attack it at the root, while educating to assist patients to make informed health care decisions. Being pro-active about our health will be far more beneficial than being reactive to it."
